Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Social Studies learning in developing a global perspective among elementary school students. A global perspective is important for students so that they can understand cultural diversity, global issues, and the interconnection between countries in the modern world. This research uses a literature study method by reviewing various books, journals, and scientific articles related to Social Studies learning and global perspective education. The results of the study show that Social Studies learning plays an important role in helping students understand global diversity, develop tolerance, and increase awareness of global issues. Through appropriate learning strategies such as discussions, contextual learning, and the use of learning media, teachers can help students develop a broader understanding of the world. Therefore, Social Studies learning in elementary schools is expected to support the development of students' global perspectives from an early age.
